Healthy Living and Active Lifestyle
I thought I was content with my unenthused lifestyle, dad bod and passive attitude towards healthy living. Clothing shrinking, body becoming more creaky and achey, general lethargy increasing and energy levels at an all time low. Is this not normal as I approach 40....? No there is another way.
Over-hauling my lifestyle and priorities has led to a renewed sense of passion to live my best life; to Live Mhor. My energy levels have increased my aches have decreased, my clothes feel more comfortable and I have never felt more satisfied eating simple, nutritious and delicious meals. Gone is the booze and late night takeaways, now I thrive on early morning workouts and action packed days with my wife and kids.
I love to feel my best spending time in the gym, out on my bike and when I can on my horse. I am a huge Scotland and All Blacks rugby supporter. Otherwise, I "enjoy" ferrying my kids around to their multiple activities.
Today, I aspire to positively influence and help others to feel a sense of achievement, reach their personal goals and LIVE MHOR.

For personal training, 1-2-1, 2-2-1 and small groups we have a fully equipped private gym space. Close to Edinburgh, the Live Mhor gym offers a safe, non judgemental space with off street parking for you to achieve your goals.
Set approximately 5 miles from Edinburgh city centre, 3 miles from South Edinburgh and 2 miles from Penicuik you will be surrounded by countryside. This fantastic location offers private indoor personal training and outdoor fitness training opportunities (weather permitting!)
I also enjoy creating fitness workouts based around outdoor events and venues close to Edinburgh and in the Midlothian area so there is something for everyone.
Book an initial consultation and we can meet either at the gym or at another venue and have an informal discussion. I am keen to hear about your health and fitness goals. I can also tell you more about personal training and answer any questions you may have.
If you are eager to get started, we will then put a few sessions in the diary. Before we begin any exercise I will ask that you complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ). This form discusses your history of exercising and any medical information I may need to be aware of.
